*** NEWS: Road Closures On Picadome Park And Vista Street **

From the Division of Water Quality :

LEXINGTON, KY. (Aug. 22, 2025)  Beginning Monday, Aug. 25, Vista Street between Rosemont Garden and Picadome Park will be closed to all thru traffic. This is in addition to the recent closure of Picadome Park between Lafayette Parkway and Vista Drive.

These closures are due to sanitary sewer construction. They are expected to last for approximately one month. Residents will be able to access their homes during construction.

Drivers should use Lafayette Parkway, Reed Lane, Pin Oak Drive and Rosemont Garden to detour around the closures.

This work is part of a project to upsize approximately 4500 feet of sanitary sewer line along Wolf Run Creek. Construction is estimated to be finished by the end of 2026. This project is part of the federal consent decree requirements for Lexington to improve its sanitary sewer system.
